Description: 

Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 6.1 m single span PG type girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a new 2400 mm diameter CSP culvert with a 22.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on a local road over a watercourse, 2 km NE of Vegreville. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following:

  • Traffic Accommodation
  • Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing
  • Water Management
  • Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure
  • Excavation
  • CSP with Couplers Supply
  • CSP Assembly
  • Backfill
  • Roadway Work
  • Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap
  • Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barriers (Straw Fibre Rolls)
  • Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C)
