This Contract is for the removal of the existing 2 - 1200 mm CSP culvert and installation of a new 2200 mm x 40.0 m long CSP culvert with a gabion mattress outfall structure. The new crossing is located on Township Road 820, approximately 8 km southwest of Berwyn, Alberta.
Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following:
Each bidder, in submitting a Tender, acknowledges that he has examined the site and the surrounding area; and is familiar with all conditions and /or restrictions that could affect or limit his operations due to such things as environmental constraints, public traffic, and property of others.
The Contractor shall supply all materials, and these shall be new materials unless otherwise authorized by the Consultant. A complete job is called for and therefore any labour, equipment, or material not specifically mentioned, but necessary for a complete job, will be considered incidental to the Contract. |
