Bridge Maintenance work on 3 structures within the County of Minburn No. 27. 

This Contract will include mobilization, traffic accommodation and repair work on three different sites. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at these sites is as follows:

Bridge File 01306: Birch Creek, SW 23-50-10-W4M - 6.1 m HC girder bridge on a treated timber substructure

• Pile repairs – Posting: Abutment 2 Pile 2 (1 total)
• Pile repairs – Treat and band: Abutment 1 Pile 4 & 7 and Abutment 2 Piles 4,6,7 (5 total)
• Backwall repairs – Breastwall installation (Abutment 2)
• Miscellaneous repairs

Bridge File 06729: 2nd Order Tributary to Vermilion River, NW 31-53-15-W4M, 6.1 m HC girder bridge on a treated timber substructure

• Supply, Deliver, and Erect Girders – Replace 8 Girders (2 – 9)
• Supply, Deliver, and Erect Girder – Replace Girder 1- Deletable
• Set-Up, Supply, and Drive Piling – Abutment 1 Pile 4
• Replace Timber Caps
• Backwall Repairs – Reattach south breastwall (replace 2 boards) and add concrete to both abutments
• Wingwall Repairs – Fill northwest wingwall/road shoulder with 0.7 m³of clay fill
• Heavy Rock Riprap (Class 1) – Place 15 m³ of additional Class 1 riprap under the bridge
• Miscellaneous Repairs

Bridge File 08790: Vermilion River, SW 05-52-09-W4M, 6.1-6.1-6.1m PG girder bridge on a treated timber substructure

• Supply, Deliver, and Erect Girders – Replace Span 1 Girder 4 and Span 2 Girder 3
• Partial Depth Concrete Repairs – Patch spall at Span 2 Girder 10 (0.1 m²)
• Backwall Repairs – Breastwall installation (Abutment 2)
• Miscellaneous Repairs
